I once stumbled upon a dead pigeon on the street. I filmed it, I filmed how the wind brought some life into the dead animal. That was in Vienna. When we traveled to Užice, I took four small fans with me because I was told that it was extremely hot there. I thought they could be a starting point for a work. In Užice, I found a shell of a pigeon egg in the attic of the building where the exhibition was to take place. It was a former military building. The fans, blades of grass moved by the air current, the egg shell in a nest of grass blades, and the video of the dead pigeon - these things came together.

From July 17 to 25, 2021, seventeen artists and three curators collectively researched the concept of Hospitable Utopia in Užice, Serbia. By participating in field trips to the surrounding area, meeting locals, picking berries, and immersing themselves in the historical and contemporary significance of the region, they discovered the paradigms and matrices that have emerged throughout the region's long history and are woven into the phenomena of individual and collective situations. The reflections on those experiences where presented at the Reflektor Gallery run by the Užice Visual Artists Association.

I have bought quail eggs, they are the size of a pigeon egg, the bread is made from flour, the flour is made from grains, the grains are harvested from grasses. In the exhibition there will be a breeze and I will fry eggs for the visitors, I will serve them with self-made bread, the bread that comes from grasses, the grasses that are moved by the wind, just like the wings of the roadkill pigeon ... that's how things are connected.
